👋 Member Updates · 10 mins
Go around your Circle and share personal updates. Keep them brief and focused on significant changes or important decisions since the last time you met. It's OK not to have one every month. If you have a One Action update from last time, share that too.
🧊 Icebreaker · 10 mins
Invite everyone in the group to share. Keep answers to one or two minutes per person.
Think about a job interview you've had — strong or not. What's one thing you wish you'd done differently to prepare?
🏋️ Discussion · 10 mins
Go around the group and discuss:
- Has anyone used AI for interview prep? What step did you use it for — research, answer sharpening, practice, or questions — and was it helpful?
- Step 3 — practicing your answers out loud — is the most important step. It's also the part that many people skip or rush. Who here rehearses out loud and seeks feedback before big conversations — either with a friend or with AI? What's your method?
🏋️ Activity · 10 mins
As a group, test out the second AI interview prep step.
-
Think of a role you're interested in, or search for one on LinkedIn.
-
Use AI to prepare and sharpen your answers: Upload your resume or share your background, and also paste in the job description. Ask AI to suggest some ways to answer to the question "Tell me about yourself." Prompt it to help you turn your accomplishments and experience into a realistic, compelling story that positions you as ideally equipped for the job.
-
Review the output. Is it compelling and true to who you are? What would you change about the prompt to get a better answer?
-
Share as a group: Go around the Circle and share how this exercise went. Did you learn anything helpful? Did anything surprise you? What could you add to your prompts to improve the result?

Interview Prep in Four Steps
Step 1: Research the role: Paste the job description into an AI tool like Claude or ChatGPT. Ask: "What are the top five skills this role requires? What does the company seem to value based on how they wrote this description? What experience will likely matter most to the hiring manager?" Then ask AI to research the company: recent news, the team's priorities, how the company talks about itself publicly.
Step 2: Use AI to prepare and sharpen your answers: Upload your resume or share your background, along with the job description. Ask it to help you identify where your experience maps to what they're looking for, and where there are gaps you should be ready to address. If you're making a career pivot, ask it to help you translate your past experience into language that makes sense for the new context. Prompt it to help you turn your accomplishments into stories. The best interview answers follow a structure: here was the situation, here's what I did, here's the outcome.
Step 3: Practice: Practice out loud with AI. Tell it to act as an interviewer for this specific role and ask you the questions a strong hiring manager would ask. Use voice or dictation mode, and ask for honest feedback. "What's missing? What sounds vague? Where should I add a specific example? Where am I underselling myself?"
Step 4: Use it to prepare your own questions. "What should I ask this company to show that I fully understand the role and the organization's core goals?"
🎯 One Action · 10 mins
Commit to one concrete action — big or small — you'll take before next meeting. Go around the Circle and share (1 minute or less per member). Vocalizing it helps hold each other accountable.
Take the role or opportunity you tested in the activity (or another role you're interviewing for) and run all four AI prep steps on it this week. Come to the next meeting ready to share what changed about your answers or your confidence about interviewing.
📅 Wrap-Up · 5 mins
Before you break, plan your next meeting and close on an energetic note. Go around your Circle one by one and finish the sentence:
Now I am feeling… (choose one word).
- Set the day, time, and location
- Choose the next topic or resource
- Confirm who's leading the discussion
- Decide how you'll stay in touch in between
