Circle progress & planning guide

Celebrate your growth in the last 6 months and plan what comes next.

Before You Start

Goal: Reflect on what you've learned and put into practice in the last 6 months, and leave with a clear picture of where your Circle is headed next.

👋 Member Updates · 10 mins

Go around your Circle and share personal updates. Keep them brief and focused on significant changes or important decisions since the last time you met. It's OK not to have one every month. If you have a One Action update from last time, share that too.

🧊 Icebreaker · 10 mins

Invite everyone in the group to share. Keep answers to one or two minutes per person.

Share one thing you've done at work in the last six months that you're genuinely proud of.

🏋️ Activity · 25 mins

Take turns sharing:

  1. What's one thing you've learned about yourself since your Circle began — through the discussions, the One Actions, or the relationships?
  2. What's one thing you've done differently at work or in your life because of this Circle? What was the impact?
  3. What would make your next chapter of your Circle even better than your last one?
  4. Looking ahead, what do you most want from your Circle in the next season — more skill-building, more peer support, deeper connection, or something else? You can use the checklist below to agree on the next topics you'll focus on. This list isn't exhaustive, and you can also look at our Resources page for ideas.

🎯 One Action · 10 mins

Commit to one concrete action — big or small — you'll take before next meeting. Go around the Circle and share (1 minute or less per member). Vocalizing it helps hold each other accountable.

Before your next meeting, commit to one action inspired by something you heard today — a step someone else took that you want to try, or something you've been meaning to do and haven't yet. Example: "I heard someone in my Circle describe how they started advocating for themselves in weekly check-ins with their manager. My One Action is to bring one specific win to my next one-on-one instead of waiting to be asked." Share your One Action with your Circle (1 minute or less).

📅 Wrap-Up · 5 mins

Before you break, plan your next meeting and close on an energetic note. Go around your Circle one by one and finish the sentence:

Now I am feeling… (choose one word).

  • Set the day, time, and location
  • Choose the next topic or resource
  • Confirm who's leading the discussion
  • Decide how you'll stay in touch in between
